About
The first step towards the right diagnosis and treatment is a confidential consultation with an experienced gynaecologist. Our specialists care for women at every stage of life — from family planning and fertility to pregnancy, menstrual problems, pelvic pain and preventive screening.
Every consultation can include an ultrasound scan of the uterus and ovaries. Scans are performed through the abdomen (with a full bladder) or vaginally; the two methods complement each other and are often done together to give the most complete picture. Ultrasound is used to investigate abdominal pain or unexplained bleeding, to monitor pregnancy, and for prevention — especially for women using hormonal contraception or HRT.
Diagnosis is supported by a wide range of laboratory tests. We work with Blanchardstown Hospital Laboratory and Medicina Practica Laboratory, and our doctors can refer you to consultants in Irish hospitals — or arrange procedures in Lithuanian hospitals — when needed.
